CEP designs, manufactures and supports instruments that measure physical properties of materials. The product line includes unique, patented dielectric analyzers, viscometers and rheometers. The company's core competencies are physics, chemistry and electronics. Offices and labs are in Delaware, USA. Sales and support offices are located in Houston, Japan and India.

History:

2000 CEP purchases the Bannatek Co., including exclusive rights to make and sell the Lodge Stressmeter.

1999 CEP licenses from DuPont the dielectric analyzer, commercializes it as the Rheoceptor.

1997 CEP licenses from DuPont the dielectric analyzer, commercializes it as the Proceptor.

1996 Chemical ElectroPhysics Corp. (CEP) formed by Dr. Michael McBrearty and colleagues.

1992 Dielectric analyzer patented at DuPont by Michael McBrearty and Dr. Stephen Perusich.

1990 Squeezing flow viscometer patented at DuPont by Dr. Safwat Tadros.
