The Proceptor system software runs the instruments, calculates electrical properties
and chemical concentrations, displays and archives results and generates 4-20 mA process control outputs.
The main window, shown below, displays permittivity versus time for a typical experimental run in which
measurements were taken at sixteen frequencies, the separate traces in the graph, in a repeating sequence
that took about two minutes per cycle. The sensor was attached to an extruder while nylon was processed
through the system, alternately by itself and with 5% nano-clay.
